Belle's Story...
Sweet Belle was found in the middle of the road by a good samaritan who picked her up and brought her to us. This poor little girl has had a rough first few months of her life. She is only 4 months old, but she must have been on the streets along time based on the scars on her legs. Despite what she must have been through, Belle is a sweet, loving, smart and very social girl. She gets along great with other dogs and loves people. Belle is working on her house training skills but is crate trained. She does well on a leash and is learning basic commands.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Belle, a Harrisburgh Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Harrisburgh, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Harrisburgh.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harrisburgh already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harrisburgh breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harrisburgh paves the way for another one to be saved.
