Mrs. Beasley's Story...
Mrs. Beasley is a happy, energetic, playful and fun, one to two-year-old, 22-pound, female cattle dog looking for a loving guardian. When Mrs. Beasley’s human moved to senior housing, she was dropped off at Chicago Animal Care and Control. Lucky for her, she moved out of the shelter cage and into a foster home where she proved herself very smart and easily trainable; she even has agility potential. She already knows sit and down and takes treats very gently from your fingers. She is a very sweet girl who gives kisses, is crate-trained and housebroken when kept on schedule. She is a little cautious at first with new people and new dogs, but after proper introduction she gets along well with everyone (except cats). She loves going for walks and is excellent on leash and great in the car. She is an energetic girl who is looking for a family that has the time to give her daily exercise, and continue her training. Mrs. Beasley is healthy, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm-tested and micro-chipped. Her adoption fee of $200 benefits the One Tail at a Time rescue group. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mrs. Beasley, a Chicago Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cattle Dog for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cattle Dog breeders who help with Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
