Becka's Story...
Becka is a beautiful, young dapple dachshund mix. A bit shy at first meeting, it takes no time at all for her to warm up to you and give great affection. Becka loves other small dogs almost as much as she loves tennis balls. She hasn't mastered the art of fetch yet but will chase after them as long as you're willing to throw.

Becka is being offered for adoption by Sadie Rescue: www.sadies.org or sadiesrescue@yahoo.com

Please e-mail for more information: mijos.mom@gmail.com. We typically respond to e-mail within 24 hours or less. All dogs listed by Promised Land Dog Fosters have been spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, micro chipped and heart worm tested. They are currently receiving flea/tick prevention as well as heart worm prevention. The adoption fee, to cover the cost of rescue, vetting and foster care is $140.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Becka, a San Angelo Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in San Angelo, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in San Angelo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Angelo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Angelo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Angelo paves the way for another one to be saved.
