Buddy's Story...
Meet Buddy, appropriately named because that's all he wants to be.....everybody's buddy. This sweet 2-3 year old, 11 lb, chi/JRT, was given up to a good samaritan by a homeless woman who could no longer care for him. He was in good shape and we were very happy that the woman realized when she could no longer care for him and she put him in safe hands. Buddy is great with people and all pets; even cats. He is not overly hyper by any means but he does love to play. He would love a canine sibling to hang out with and go on long walks with; and maybe a trip to the dog park to play with all the other dogs? He's good on a leash and adores the outdoors but if you're indoors, that's where he wants to be.

If you are interested in making Buddy a part of your family, please contact RuffRidersRescue@aol.com

An adoption questionnaire and home check will be required. Adoption fee $200. PLEASE NOTE: **This is not a Ruff Riders Rescue dog. This is a courtesy listing for an independent rescuer and/or foster family (not Ruff Riders Rescue) and the adoption will be a private adoption between the independent rescuer/foster family and the forever family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy, a Pasadena Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Pasadena, or seeking a Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Pasadena.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pasadena already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pasadena breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pasadena paves the way for another one to be saved.
