Josie's Story...
Hi! Please meet Josie, a definite class act among all cats! He carries himself like a little gentleman, very distinguished and respectful. Once you stay around him a few minutes, he comes up to you, rubs against your leg, and then it's on! He loves to be cuddled and scratched under the chin. He has been fostered, and gets along well with kids, dogs, and other kitties. Josie came in with his brother Stewie and sister Fiona. Their person had to enter a nursing home, so he and his brother and sister are now looking to for a forever home to brighten forever! Josie is up-to-date on all vaccinations, has tested FeLV/FIV negative, is parasite-free, is declawed, and litter-box trained. To get pre-approved for adoption and thus hasten the process, please complete our adoption form online at Thank you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Josie, a Broomall Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Broomall, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Broomall.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Broomall already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Broomall breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Broomall paves the way for another one to be saved.
