Vance's Story...
I once had a loving home, and I really have no clue why they dumped me like yesterday's garbage, but they did!! Why would they leave me to fend for myself on the busy streets of Columbus, I thought they loved me!! Lucky for me I was picked up by the Dog Warden and taken to the shelter. When my stray time was up they called Harlequin Haven to come for me and the next day when I arrived at the rescue I was given a soft bed, tons of toys and most of all lots of love and attention!!!

I am now ready for adoption. Hopefully I can find a forever home that knows what forever really means! I am a very sweet and gentle boy and just want a family that will love me forever!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Vance, a Bethel Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane for sale in Bethel, or seeking a Great Dane dog from a breeder in Bethel.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bethel already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bethel breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane breeders who help with Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bethel paves the way for another one to be saved.
