Awesome dog alert … Meet Scout, a 9 month old Cattle Dog/Border Collie mix. Scout has a great temperament and loves to play with his 6 doggy foster siblings. He has an excellent recall, checks in with his people and sticks close by when walking off leash. He is the perfect hiking partner! Scout loves all dogs (big or small), toys and balls, swimming and really likes riding in the car. He has a super sweet personality and really wants to please his people.
Scout is part of the Lead and Love Program which accepts dogs from shelters that are being overlooked due to minor behavioral issues. They are then placed into foster care with a professional trainer, where they learn house manners and basic obedience. Scout has excelled in the program and he really shows that positive training methods and consistency make a great dog! Scout comes when he is called, he has excellent leash manners, and knows sit, down, stay and wait. He is also crate trained, has great house manners and is house trained.
Scout is neutered, current on vaccinations and micro chipped. His adoption fee is $200.00.
