Lovely Young Orange Luke's Story...
Luke is a friendly, ready to purr, beautiful orange boy found in Queens. He is truly a handsome young man. His pale colors are unique and stunning and so sweet, wants to be your buddy or shadow, he is an attention-seeker, will be with (or on) you when you sit down-he likes to be a "scarf" on me, loves playing with his toys (including mouse-on-string), smart (knows where food & treats are kept), curious (wants to know what you're doing & possibly to "help"), likes to explore, will just hang out with you if you're having a lazy day (or riding out a hurricane!), likes to sleep near you Here is another video: http://youtu.be/lFDZbzwolC8 and http://youtu.be/nrVl-ieJjsY

Luke has been neutered, tested negative for felv/fiv, up-to-date on his shots, and microchipped. He is ready for a new home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lovely Young Orange Luke, a Brooklyn Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
