Flora's Info...
| Breed: | Domestic Shorthair | Color: | Tortoiseshell | Age: | Young |
| Sex: | Female | Hair: | Short |
I am already spayed, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with cats.
Flora is a spirited, soulful lady and couldn't be sweeter. When she's in a loving mode, which is often, she coos and chirps and has the cutest habit of bucking up like a little bronco when she really wants attention. She's quite playful with toys, engages in hand play, and happily settles in at the foot of the bed at night. Occasionally, she'll snuggle.
Flora has the most stunning green eyes and is the blondest tortie we've ever seen. She's even more beautiful in person. She is so ready and willing to make herself the best and most appreciative companion. Flora gets along very well with other cats and is not opposed to small dogs.
Although she's been diagnosed with renal failure, it is in the very early stages and has remained stable over the last several months. She's on a kidney diet and is very well hydrated on her own, receiving fluids at home only if the need arises. She's a very low-maintenance gal!
Approximately 4 years old, Flora is spayed, up to date on all vaccines, and FeLV/FIV negative. She's ready to infuse her sweet love into your home today.

Rescue Group Info...
The American Street Cat, Inc's primary focus is on TNR (trap-neuter-return), but the kittens and friendlies found during the rescue effort cannot be ignored. They are brought indoors, well-cared for in a non-shelter environment, and promoted for adoption upon a clean bill of health.
We are a small, new (2011), volunteer-based, non-profit organization, with no paid officers or staff. Any donations (of time and/or money) will be greatly appreciated.
We are committed to minimizing the pet overpopulation problem, thereby minimizing the homelessness of beautiful adoptables such as ours.
By e-mail appointment only. As they arise, adoption events will be announced on our website under Events.
Fees apply, and an adoption contract must be agreed to and signed. A meeting with your potential pet is required.
We like to engage in e-mail or phone correspondence prior to arranging any meetings, and we will send a draft of our contract for review.
The American Street Cat, Inc. (aka TASC) is based in Brooklyn, NY. We adopt out to neighboring boroughs and the tri-state area.
