Rocky's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Rocky's Story...
Rocky was dumped at a very high kill shelter. He wasn't going to make it out of there and he knew it. I couldn't resist his little face so I pulled him. Rock is neutered, up to date on shots and housebroken. He is crate trained and kennel trained as well, though he would rather be right there with his person/family. He is extremely loyal, is extremely appreciative of everything, and he honestly cannot get close enough to you. Rock would do best in a home where someone is there alot to spend the time with him. He probably would like to go wherever the owner goes when possible. And probably a fairly quiet home, just not alot of small kids running around and stepping on him and pulling his tail or anything. He is an older gentleman (about 7 yrs old) and just doesn't need the commotion. I can't say enough good about this boy. I am so glad we saved him. If you would like an adoption application for him or if you have any questions about him, please contact us. Rocky's adoption fee is $90.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocky, a Bakersville Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Bakersville, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Bakersville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bakersville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bakersville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bakersville paves the way for another one to be saved.
