Jack's Story...
Hi! I'm Jack. I am my foster dad's favorite because I am the biggest kitten in the litter. You should see the size of my feet!!

My mom had a litter when she was just a kitten herself, but she took very good care of us. Now it is time to find a forever home.

I love to spend my day wrestling with my brother and sister, then taking a nice nap on my window shelf.

I am smart, playful and very friendly. Did I tell you that I get along with children, other cats and DOGS! I love dogs - I have lived with them since I was 4 weeks old.

I would really love to go to my forever home.

You can see more pictures of me and my mom and siblings here:

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jack, a Worcester Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Worcester, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Worcester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Worcester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Worcester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Worcester paves the way for another one to be saved.
