Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I met Big Joe back when I was visiting the Tennessee shelters for the very first time. He was at a shelter that does not put down dogs. So I told him I'd be back for him but he's have to be patient as I had to work on the other dogs on death row.
Big Joe had a skin condition when I first met him. He had significant hair loss and was very itchy. We had him tested and it did not come back as mange. However, we treated him with antibiotics. Soon he stopped itching and his fur started to grow back. Poor guy.
This boy has a zest for life. He like a giant puppy weighing in at 90 pounds. Actually, he is still very much puppy. He's probably only a little over a year old. His cranium is enormous. When I met him, I was amazed at how big he was.
He's a very friendly boy but is still a little mouthy. When I say mouthy, I mean he likes to play bite. So he doesn't bite down hard. Also, he doesn't realize how big he actually is.This is the only reason why I'm requesting he doesn't go into a home with kids. Big Joe has been so patient waiting for his day to come where he's be in his forever home. You won't regret bringing this tiny horse into your home :) Please contact Antonia at kiwi_tonia@comcast.net
