Ruff Ruff! My name is WILLOW

WILLOW is a young hound mix found abandoned and starving in a remote rural area.  We estimate her date of birth to be February 2012.  She  is spayed, de-wormed, heartworm negative and fully-vaccinated.  She is current on flea, tick and heartworm prevention.  She
stands about 22 inches at the shoulder and weighs 45 lb.  We're still trying to decipher her ancestry.  When she's really happy, her tail curls cutely sideways over her back. She has rear dew claws and some medium-length fur on her tail the and the ruff of her neck.  She can be a little
shy at first, but warms up quickly once she knows you. She enjoys the company of other non-aggressive dogs and is even making good progress in the company of cats.  Willow is house-trained, knows how to use the doggie door, and is crate-trained for nighttime sleeping.  She walks on a leash but still balks a little bit.  Willow has a warm, winsome, affectionate personality.  She is quite smart, curious, charming and gleeful, with a playful, busy personality.  She is a gentle dog who does well with children.  She'd do well in a family environment. Willow is currently located in Arkansas and will be transported to the northeast once adopted.
