Cassidy's Story...
Cassidy - 1 year old male purebred Miniature Schnauzer. Cassidy was rescued from a high kill shelter. He came in with an abrasion to his shoulder and a broken leg which was from an older injury. We suspect he has been hit by a car not once but twice in his short life time. Cassidy saw Dr. Leeds an orthopedic surgeon in Torrance. We originally were told he'd have to have surgery to fix his leg as it was a bad break that partial healed fusing the bones but having space between the bone fragments on other parts. We had surgery scheduled... it had gotten delayed twice (once due to surgeon inavailability then to a malfunctioning saw)... at anyrate after a 10 day delay and re-xraying him it was determined that surgery is NOT needed! Cassidy went through rehab by exercising his leg, he is now ready to go a loving home. Cassidy is a youngster... filled with energy. Would do best in a home with another doggie pal to play with. Cassidy is about 13 pounds.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cassidy, a Redondo Beach Schnauzer (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Miniature) for sale in Redondo Beach, or seeking a Schnauzer (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Redondo Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Redondo Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Redondo Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Miniature) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Redondo Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
