Peanut -Adopted!'s Story...
Adoption Pending: My name is Peanut and I am a very nice, 2 year old, black, small cocker girl with a natural tail. My brother Dusty and I were turned into a SC shelter, reasons why, unknown. I am dog social and a very good girl. I came here with bilateral cherry eyes and they had been tacked, but then I started having a problem again with one eye, so CCR had to take me back to the vet to get this taken care of again. Now it is fixed and I would love a home of my own. I am a nice, very sweet, happy girl who would just love to be your lap dog, a best friend and a favorite companion. I would love to have a home and someone to love me for the special little girl that I am. I know that I can make you very happy and I would really like to become your new baby girl. I will do best in a home without small children as my past is unknown, but these nice rescue folks have found out that I am ok with cats. And, I might just be a perfect companion for an older couple or someone who would love me just like if they had had kids. If you can give me the home that I deserve, then I would love to meet you! I will make you smile!!!

I have now been placed into a great foster home until I can be adopted.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peanut -Adopted!, a Kannapolis Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Kannapolis, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Kannapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kannapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kannapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kannapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
