(most likely from the stressful shelter environment) URGENTLY SEEKING A FOSTER OR ADOPTER: We have a very handsome pup who really needs to get out of the shelter. He's been at BACS since April. He's had some ongoing skin problems. We'd love to find a foster/rescue group for him where he can spend some quite RnR. Many of you have previously admired this handsome lad so we are hoping you can help Raider on his quest by sharing his story and helping him find his way out of the shelter.

******************

Our Raider tugs at your heart. His soft grey coat has some rough patches and he walks a slight limp possibly from a bone break that never healed correctly. Despite his seeming past hardship he's quite happy to let you stroke him and gently tug at his ears as he basks in the sunlight of the nearby park. It's a true pleasure to see him stretch out on the grass and absorb the attention. Raider appears to have a friendly interest in other dogs but cats -- not so much. Raider is very treat-motivated and would likely flourish as a doggie obedience student.

Raider's neck has extra wrinkly folds and with the cute arc in his tail it's possible he has some sharpei in the mix. Whatever his fine blend we know Raider has lots of love to give. He's waiting for someone to take him in and give him the chance to show it.

See pictures of our boy Raider relaxing in the park.
