Winston's Story...
"Winston is a 6 month old Labrador retriever mix. His is a sweet and lovable boy who is very playful. Winston came to us with a dislocated shoulder that was beyond repair. Now that he has been through surgery he is all healed and ready to run, play, and find his forever home. Winston still needs a little training with basic manners and is ready to start working on his basic obedience. His foster mom April is a certified dog trainer and is willing to give 3 FREE training hours to help Winston and his new family to get settled.
Winston has been in a family with 3 other dogs. He is used to having a big backyard to play in and is potty trained. He loves to cuddle and will fall asleep right in your lap. Winston likes to talk long walks around the backyard and lay out in the sun in the afternoons.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Winston, a Alpharetta Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Alpharetta, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Alpharetta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alpharetta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alpharetta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alpharetta paves the way for another one to be saved.
