Roxy-Adopted!'s Story...
Roxy was adopted from our rescue in November 2003 as a 5 month old puppy. Earlier this year, Roxy's family was forced to move and could not take her with them. Roxy is a sweet, medium sized girl who gets along well with dogs, cats, and kids. She loves long walks in any weather and enjoys going on car rides. She's a low maintenance girl and still in great shape despite being an older girl. Roxy would love a home where someone is home all day with her. Please consider helping Roxy get a fresh start. She has lots of love to share. Birth date 6/3/03

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roxy-Adopted!, a Detroit Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Detroit, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Detroit.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Detroit already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Detroit breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Detroit paves the way for another one to be saved.
