Manchas #331's Story...
Manchas is a 2 yr. old, 9 lb. Doxi-Chi mix. She is a great cuddler and will follow you around all day just waiting for a lap. She also loves walks and car rides. She gets along well with other small dogs but is nervous and barks around big dogs. She needs a wood-fenced yard as she likes to roam and can climb a chain-link fence. She does bark when left alone.

Manchas’ adoption fee is $250. She is being fostered in Roy. WA. Please contact Wendy at or if interested in Manchas for more information.

We do not do same day adoptions unless you are preapproved. Adoption application with references checked & a home visit are required. We do many special events during the year, so check our calendar on our website:

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Manchas #331, a Seattle Dachshund/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Chihuahua for sale in Seattle, or seeking a Dachshund/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Seattle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seattle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seattle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Chihuahua breeders who help with Dachshund/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seattle paves the way for another one to be saved.
