Dolly's Story...
http://www.valleydogs.org/cp_dolly.html -- Hi there! My name is Dolly.

Dolly is about 5 years old, Pure Bred Smooth Coated St. Bernard.

She has turned into such a great dog, she loves to play, loves to be pet. She wants a family that can love her, and she will love back unconditionally. Dolly is a smart cookie, she knows sit and lay, but she does need to know leash manners. She loves to lean as well. She needs very little obedience training, but with the proper training, your family will be completely satisfied to have her as a family member.

She does very well with her foster parents animals, just wants to play. She does well with other adults, unfortunately, we don't know about cats or children. She will need a STRONG Leader to show her the Best things in life! Are YOU that person?

This pup is a courtesy post with Valley Dogs Rescue. Please contact kerribear69@yahoo.com if you are interested in meeting this sweet dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dolly, a Gilbert St. Bernard dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a St. Bernard for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a St. Bernard dog from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even St. Bernard breeders who help with St. Bernard rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
