Maya's Story...
My name is Maya, I came from a breeders home and am about 9 months old. (dob 9-11) She could no longer take care of me so she found someone to take me and find me my forever home. I am very loving and love to be with you. I get along with other dogs and am house trained. I hope you will find it in your heart to take me home. I love to snuggle and play games; My foster Mom says that I've been a really great puppy. I need a loving, affectionate family who can help me grown into a wonderful adult dog...I hope you are that family!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maya, a Harrisonburg Wirehaired Fox Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Wirehaired Fox Terrier for sale in Harrisonburg, or seeking a Wirehaired Fox Terrier dog from a breeder in Harrisonburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harrisonburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harrisonburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Wirehaired Fox Terrier breeders who help with Wirehaired Fox Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harrisonburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
