Ronan's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Ronan's Story...
Ronan was the subject of a neglect case. He was found in a home with no running water or electricity. The only thing left for him was a large bowl of water. After a month of physical rehabilitation and weight gain at a local animal control facility, Ronan was released to BARC for placement. He gets along well with other dogs and is eager to please. Ronan knows how to sit, rides well in the car, and enjoys playtime. He ignored the cats in his transitional foster home, so we believe that a placement with cats may be possible for Ronan. We believe he is about 2 to 3 years old and weighs about 70 lbs. Ronan has been neutered and is available for adoption now. Ronan is being fostered by Jim in Jacksonville.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ronan, a Tallahassee Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Tallahassee, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Tallahassee.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tallahassee already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tallahassee breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tallahassee paves the way for another one to be saved.
