There are not Australian Shepherds but unfortunately Petfinder does not have a listing to use for what they are which is Indian Pariah Dogs.
Pariah Dogs have an adaptable, friendly nature, high intelligence and trainability and overall good health, as they have evolved for survival. Their high territorial instinct makes them naturally good watchdogs. Some individuals tend to be more independent than others. They are extraordinarily loyal and devoted to their family.
If vaccinated, cared for properly and fed a well-balanced diet, Pariah Dogs will rarely need to see a vet. They are not predisposed to develop any particular ailments.
Naz rescued a litter of Indian Pariah dogs and while some have been adopted she is needing help finding good homes for the last three. Their names are Sasha, Bashie and Jersey. Sasha is 11 months old, male who currently weighs approximately 50 lbs.
I am quiet, gentle, and very friendly. I am very active and would love to jog with you. I enjoy chasing a ball and playing hide n’ seek. I’ m very calm and quiet indoors. I love hugs and affection. I do not like crates, and need gentle leadership and guidance. I need a fenced yard so I can be safe. I would love to have a play date with my mom Sweetie. I know the basic commands like SIT, STAY, LEAVE IT, etc. I do tend to jump up when I first see you. I like playing with children 5 yrs and older.
Bashie is an 11 month old female. She currently weighs approximately 40 lbs.
