Klaus's Story...
Klaus is a handsome senior domestic long hair, tan and white.

He will ‘sit’ on command for treats. He prefers to hang around where people are, without being overly demanding, and likes to cuddle on his own terms. He is playful and loves toys. He will even play tag, and hide and seek, when he is in the mood.

Klaus does have some ongoing issues with urination; it is very possible these could be solved by a fresh start in a new environment. He would prefer to be the only pet in the house and with adults only. He was diagnosed with diabetes 5 years ago; his special diet has kept the diabetes in remission. His most recent tests have confirmed he is still in the clear! Klaus is looking for a kind, calm home where he can make a fresh start with someone new.

He is fixed and up to date with vaccinations.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Klaus, a Toronto Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Toronto, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Toronto.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toronto already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toronto breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toronto paves the way for another one to be saved.
