Mimi's Story...
Mimi is ready to open her heart to a kind caregiver. Could you be the one? This brave little girl has been a neighborhood feral cat at Pape & Gerrard in Toronto for two years. She gave birth to one litter of kittens last summer but was fixed immediately after. She receives daily meals and love from a feeder but has no home. Over the past year Mimi has become trusting and will allow the feeder to pet her. She also purrs, meows, and gives friendly leg rubs. Mimi will require more socialization but is on her way to blossoming into aloving companion. Brave, resourceful Mimi has the heart to love if only someone would give her the chance. Please consider opening your door and heart to Mimi. Please note: A calm, quiet home with no dogs, or children would be most suitable. Other friendly cats would be OK! For more information on Mimi or to inquire about adopting her, please contact our volunteers at 905-597-8273 or by email at ucrcats@live.ca.

About Our Rescue Group...
Urban Cat Relief (Formerly - Fostering Felines) is a network of loving and experienced foster homes. Our volunteers open up their heart and homes and allow our rescued cats and kittens the opportunity to be a part of the family until they are adopted. Our cat rescue is also involved in feral cat colonies. We practice T.N.R (Trap, Neuter & Return) to help control the population and prevent needless suffering. We promote spay/neuter and proper pet care.

Our Adoption Process...
Urban Cat Relief (Formerly - Fostering Felines) strives to make the best possible between our cats and adopters. Our foster homes are observant and spend quality time with the cats to learn what makes them the happiest. Our interview process begins with a phone call and we will ask about your home and family. The adopters are welcome to ask any questions. We can then arrange a meet & greet to make sure that everyone is happy! Our adoption fees do vary but always include 1st vaccinations, deworming and a vet check for our kittens and adult cats will always be either spayed or neutered, have up to date vaccines and will have been examined by a vet. We are up front about any health issues and provide health records.
