Caesar's Story...
Ceasar is a cuddly 7 year old neutered indoor cat. He has been in a loving home for 7 years with his sidekick, Cleo. He loves to greet guests at the door and often walks them to the elevator too. He is always ready for a belly rub too. Ceasar also enjoys paying a visit to his cat pals across the hall from time to time. Ceasar developed diabetes a year and a half ago and was put on specific diet food as well as insulin twice a day. He has been doing well ever since and continues to enjoy tormenting Cleo by chasing her around the apartment. A year ago, our newborn came home and changed our lifestyle drastically. The baby?s crying, cooing and constant sounds in conjunction with the diabetes created a lot of stress for Ceasar who gets very defensive around the baby and we are now looking for a loving, caring and quiet home for him. We currently keep him separated from the baby but this is becoming more difficult as the baby gets older and it is unfair to Ceasar. We do not want to euthanize him but we have been advertising in several places and contacting cat rescue groups without being able to find a suitable home. We are urgently looking for a comfortable, quiet and caring home for Ceasar and we would love to see him thrive in a less stressful environment. Please call us at (416)760-0950. For more information on Caesar or to inquire about adopting him, please contact our volunteers at 905-597-8273 or by email at ucrcats@live.ca.

About Our Rescue Group...
Urban Cat Relief (Formerly - Fostering Felines) is a network of loving and experienced foster homes. Our volunteers open up their heart and homes and allow our rescued cats and kittens the opportunity to be a part of the family until they are adopted. Our cat rescue is also involved in feral cat colonies. We practice T.N.R (Trap, Neuter & Return) to help control the population and prevent needless suffering. We promote spay/neuter and proper pet care.

Our Adoption Process...
Urban Cat Relief (Formerly - Fostering Felines) strives to make the best possible between our cats and adopters. Our foster homes are observant and spend quality time with the cats to learn what makes them the happiest. Our interview process begins with a phone call and we will ask about your home and family. The adopters are welcome to ask any questions. We can then arrange a meet & greet to make sure that everyone is happy! Our adoption fees do vary but always include 1st vaccinations, deworming and a vet check for our kittens and adult cats will always be either spayed or neutered, have up to date vaccines and will have been examined by a vet. We are up front about any health issues and provide health records.
