Rocky's Story...
Hi, My name is Rocky, I'm 10 years young, and I am a handsome little 10 lb. Yorkie boy. My Mom & Dad couldn't keep me or my house mate, Haley, and took us to a shelter. I was very sad and didn't understand. Then a nice lady came and got me and Haley and took us to her home. I like to follow my foster mom everywhere. She showed me a really neat thing. She says it's a doggie door. I am housebroken and like to go out the doggie door but still don't quite have the hang of it to come back in! My foster mom is teaching me. I love treats and walks and other dogs. My foster mom lets me lay in her lap and sleep. If you want to give a little handsome guy a forever home ask for me, Rocky, on your application to www.breederadoptions.org. I will melt your heart if you give me a chance! Love, Rocky #083112-1

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocky, a Gilbert Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
