My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pumpkin is a very special kitty – loving, laid back and cute as a button. He has a wonderful personality and just needs to feel safe and love to blossom. He can be a little skittish when scared, but relaxes when he feels safe. He is very loving and loves to cuddle. He loves people, other cats and is fine with big dogs (he has not been around small dogs or children).

He was rescued from a local shelter where he was on the euthanasia list. There was nothing wrong with him, unless you consider cuteness a disease. He was a little scared, and latched on to me as her surrogate mother. He is now a healthy and happy boy – neutered and vaccinated. He still suckles on me periodically – a soothing mechanism that he developed because he lost his real momma way too early. It’s nothing if not endearing.
