My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Simon is a beautiful 8 yr old de-clawed, pure breed Siamese cat. he is a little hard of hearing and he is 8 years old. He is a wonderful boy but he would be a great companion for anyone. he would get along with a laid back cat or dog. he will need some time to adjust to a new home but who could blame him?? He had a home for a long time and now he doesn't. He is sensitive around his head which indicates that he was probably beaten. He also just eats wet food and has a sensitive stomach and a diet of just wet food works just fine. Og and he LOVES to sleep on your bed! although he may need some help as he has some stiffness in his hind quarters.

He has been completely vetted including being tested for feliens Aids and feline Leukemia. He's healthy, sweet and loving. Like me he's has a little hearing loss. But, his other senses compensate for that so the average person would never know any difference between him and another cat. They learn to adjust, sometimes, better than people.

You may obtain an online application by logging on to CatAdoptionRI.org or by emailing catadoptionteam@aol.com. All of the cats and kittens are adopted out with Rhode Island State mandated proof of spay or neuter. In order to take your new cat or kitten home with you, there must be an approved application prior to adoption day. Application approval is usually within 24-48 hours. We, at CATS, are very proud of all of the cats and kittens that we help facilitate finding new forever homes, and work very hard to make sure they are happy, healthy and well socialized. All of the cats and kittens are fed only Royal Canin cat food. We are at the Providence Petco, located at 585 N. Main Street, Providence, RI every Sunday from 10 am to 3 pm and you are welcome to come by and see all the cats and kittens that are looking for new 'Forever Homes'. Hard copy medical records accompany each cat and kitten on adoption day as each cat or kitten is completely vetted prior to their adoption. The adoption donation is $150.00 each after an approved application. This is not a sale, but an adoption donation. The policy is that all of our cats and kittens will be adopted out spayed or neutered, tested for feline aids/leukemia, and have all age appropriate shots. There will not be any adoption of any cat or kitten that has not been spayed or neutered first. There will be no exceptions. This means that there is less out of pocket costs for people who adopt a cat or kitten from us and you will be in 100% COMPLIANCE WITH THE SPAY/NEUTER LAW TOO!
