Pekoe, his sister Chai and their mom Duff (who are also available for adoption) were living near the airport in Philadelphia. They had very little human contact when they first arrived, and they were all very afraid of humans at first. But with lots of love and tender care, they have all grown to be very sweet cats.
Pekoe was the first one to come out of his shell, and is still the most outgoing. He loves other cats and loves to lay on laps and be loved.
Pekoe is up to date on vaccinations, neutered and ready to find his furrever home! He needs to be in a home with other cats best or to be adopted with his sister Chai or his best friend Bruna who are also available for adoption (the adoption price is the same for two as it is for one).You can see Bruna and Pekoe together in the last picture, and Pekoe with his sister Chai in the third. Pekoe is also pictured with his mother under Duff in adoptable cats.

Green Street Rescue (GSR) is an all volunteer non-profit whose goal is to humanely reduce the stray cat population in Philadelphia, through rescue work and adoptions and the practice of Trap-Neuter-Return-Manage (TNRM) for feral cats.
