Shelby's Story...
Shelby is a 1.5 year old,9 lb, Italian Greyhound/chihuahua mix who we rescued from a shelter in California where she was starving and emaciated. It took days of force feeding to give her the strength to eat on her own. She was terrified of people and set for euthanasia. Now she loves to play with her foster mom's other dogs, eats well, and seems to be a very happy little girl. She does show some fear of men, but she over comes it quickly when she trusts the man. I think she would do best with old children (for her sake) and deserves lots of love and affection. Won't you give her a chance to be a part of your family?

About Our Rescue Group...
We are dedicated to easing the suffering of our little four legged friends through our rescue efforts. Our hope is to safe animals, educate the public, and eventually eliminate the need for euthanasia. Our priority will ALWAYS be the well being of the animals first and foremost. We will never discriminate because of breed or size. Without your adoption donation we could not continue to save as many animals as we do. In addition to our rescue efforts we have established a sanctuary program for those animals who we feel need are help, but are better off not adopted out to the public. We are 100% supported by donations so please feel free to help in that manner if you are unable to adopt or foster. Thank you for your participation in our rescue programs.
