Wingtip's Story...
Wingtip

Est. DOB: February 25, 2012
Description: DSH Black and White
Gender: Female
Adoption Fee: $100.00

Wingtip is still a tad shy in the beginning, but once she warms up to you, she will load you up with purrs and cuddles!

A chatty girl, Wingtip often follows her foster mom from room to room chatting away. She gets along well with the four labs (dogs) in her foster home, although when they get too rowdy, she'll politely excuse herself and head to a quieter place in the house.

A super-sweet kitty with a generous purr motor, this talkative little girl can't wait to start a kitty conversation with you in her forever home!

Wingtip was found in a feral colony where TNR is currently underway.

Fully vetted: tested for FeLV/FIV (negative unless otherwise noted); treated for intestinal parasites, fleas, and ear mites; FVRCP+FeLV vaccinated (initial vaccination and booster); and rabies vaccinated; spayed/neutered; microchipped with Home Again microchips with shelter paid registration.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wingtip, a Apex Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Apex, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Apex.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Apex already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Apex breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Apex paves the way for another one to be saved.
