Jeeves is a sweet mild-mannered dog who is looking for a loving and trustworthy owner to give him the confidence and attention that he has been missing. Jeeves appears to be a young Pit mix around 40 pounds who was found tied under a bridge in Harrisburg. Luckily, he was rescued from that terrible situation and brought to CRCPA in hope of a second chance.
Jeeves greets every person he meets with affection and an eagerness for attention. He is a young and playful guy who has proven himself to be smart and responds well to training. He loves to play tug-of-war with ropes in the play yard, finds pleasure in chewing on a good chew toy, and enjoys playing with other dogs. Jeeves is looking for someone willing to show him the ropes and introduce him to all the finer things life has to offer a dog. He longs for a family to call his own, balls to chase, paths to walk, beds to sleep in, and laps to snuggle on.
If you are looking to earn the love and trust of a lifelong friend and want the reward of developing a “diamond in the rough,” then Jeeves is the dog for you! He is looking for a fun and playful human who would provide love, leadership, and training for him. The reward: a forever loyal and grateful friend!

About Our Rescue Group...
Canine Rescue of Central PA, Inc. is a nonprofit 501c(3), all-volunteer organization dedicated to providing assistance to any dog in a helpless situation. While a young organization, we have made tremendous progress in establishing another valuable resource for our furry friends. It is our mission to get involved in as many situations as possible to provide sanctuary, shelter, and homes to as many dogs as we can. We also are very focused on creating strategic partnerships with other rescues and similar organizations in an attempt to share resources as well as expand public awareness of the overwhelming problem of homeless animals.

Our Adoption Process...
Our adoption process encompasses several steps in an attempt to ensure the best possible placement of an animal with the most appropriate home. In addition to an application and time spent with the dog of interest, a home visit with the candidate is also a step in the adoption. We do charge an adoption fee as well as require the execution of an adoption agreement.
