Basil's Story...
Basil is the sweetest 6/7 month old Shepherd mix puppy, with super cute bat ears. He is amazing-gets along with everyone, is potty and crate trained plus incredibly cute. We are so suprised that he has not been snatched up. He has an old leg injury and anything that needs to be done will be covered by the rescue. Right now, it is not even noticable. To adopt Basil, please visit www.pitifulpups.com/availabledogs and fill out an application. His adoption fee is $250. For more information, please call 407-467-6364.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Basil, a Orlando Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Orlando, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Orlando.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Orlando already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Orlando breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Orlando paves the way for another one to be saved.
