Joey's Story...
Joey is a wonderful little boy who came into foster care with his sisters Jenny and Lila. This litter was born late in June 2012. Joey can be shy sometimes and outgoing other times. He likes to play with his sister Jenny and the other cats in the house and loves his cat toys. He is currently living with 6 cats, a large dog, and three young children. He does great with the kids and other cats but the dog still makes him a little nervous. He is a fun and playful boy who is looking for his forever home. He is up to date on age appropriate shots,is neutered, is negative for FIV/Felv and uses his litter box.

Please note: All cats and kittens require an on-line adoption application be completed and sent BEFORE consideration for adoption can take place. On-line applications at www.billericacatcarecoalition.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Joey, a N. Billerica Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in N. Billerica, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in N. Billerica.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in N. Billerica already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a N. Billerica breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in N. Billerica paves the way for another one to be saved.
