Jenny's Story...
Jenny is a cute little tiger cat who came in with her brother Joey and sister Lila both of whom are adopted. Jenny was adopted in December 2012 but her adoptive mom developed an allergic reaction to Jenny. In spite of trying different medications, she was regrettably was forced to return Jenny to BCCC after a month.
Jenny was born in late June 2012. She can still be a little shy at first, but loves to play with her toys and brother and other cats in her foster home. She is currently living with other cats, a large dog, and three young children. She does great with the kids and other cats but the dog still makes her a little nervous. She is a fun and gentle girl who is looking for her forever home. She is up to date on age appropriate shots, is spayed, is negative for FIV/Felv and uses her litter box.
Please note: All cats and kittens require an on-line adoption application be completed and sent BEFORE consideration for adoption can take place. On-line applications at www.billericacatcarecoalition.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jenny, a N. Billerica Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in N. Billerica, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in N. Billerica.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in N. Billerica already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a N. Billerica breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in N. Billerica paves the way for another one to be saved.
