Jenny's Story...
Please take a look at our sweet and gentle JENNY. Jenny is about five years old, and she's a Manchester Terrier mix. She's a good-natured dog who would make a great house (or apartment) dog, and she'd appreciate a daily walk in order to get her exercise. She walks beautifully on the leash, so the two of you would enjoy your easy walks together. Jenny gets along nicely with other dogs, and she'd do best in an adult home. Jenny will thrive in a home where she receives the love and attention she deserves, plus her discerning nature and intelligence means that she will learn quickly. Jenny is a girl that will want to please her owner. Jenny knows how to sit and stay, and the shelter staff is fairly certain that she is house trained, but they're still watching her to be sure. Please visit Jenny at the El Cajon Animal Shelter in kennel #5, then ask our helpful staff to take her out to the play yard so you can get to know her better.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jenny, a El Cajon Manchester Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Manchester Terrier for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Manchester Terrier dog from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Manchester Terrier breeders who help with Manchester Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
