Hutch's Story...
Hi, I’m Hutch. I’m a 10 year old male brittany. Don't let my age fool you, I'm an active, happy fella!

I grew up in a family with children, but my mom and dad separated, and I lost my home. I’m a happy boy, and I love attention. I like chewing on nylabones and real bones, and I really like to play ball with you. I’ve gone camping, and my previous dad said that I do some hunting. I walk nicely on leash and I love to hike on trails. I enjoy watching the squirrels, bunnies and birds – I’d chase them if I could. Cats – yes, I like to chase them too … so my foster mom says “no cats”. I’m friendly with other dogs, and would love to have a playmate dog. My foster mom lets me stay in the kitchen when she’s at work, and I’m very good – I don’t get into brittany fun trouble. Oh, I get a little scared when it thunders, but not too bad.

Hutch is housebroken, neutered, microchipped, up to date on shots and on heartworm preventative.

This handsome boy is part of NEBR's senior to senior adoption program. If you are interested in adding him to your family, please fill out an adoption application at the New England Brittany Rescue website, We look forward to hearing from you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hutch, a Buffalo Brittany dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Brittany for sale in Buffalo, or seeking a Brittany dog from a breeder in Buffalo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Buffalo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Buffalo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Brittany breeders who help with Brittany rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Buffalo paves the way for another one to be saved.
