My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Annie is a very sweet and mild mannered purebred black lab who is approximately five years old and weighs around 52 pounds. Annie found herself homeless and in a high kill shelter in TN. Lucky Lab came to her rescue and now Annie’s future is looking much brighter. She has perfect house manners and is house and crate trained. Her foster says that Annie is a very smart girl and already knows her basic commands. She plays well with other dogs and people of all ages. She also likes to stretch out on her bed and play with her chew toys. She loves to be right next to her human. She enjoys getting her belly rubbed and being told that she is a good girl. Annie is considered to be medium energy and will require the usual amount of exercise – a couple of good walks per day and daily playtime. She is very gentle on the leash and makes a great walking companion. A short video of Annie can be seen here http://youtu.be/2wNWbttYH3k Annie came into rescue heartworm positive, was treated, and now has been given a clean bill of health. She is up to date on her shots including rabies, micro-chipped and on heartworm and flea preventatives. She is ready to have a loving home to call her own. If you think you are the perfect family for this wonderful girl, please complete an online application and request Annie on the notes section.
