Zelda von Zeven's Story...
Zelda von Zeven is the cutest 8 month old shepherd mix. Her teeth are so white and shiny that she could be a model for a toothpaste ad. She has an unusually calm aura for a pup. Happiness radiates off her as she approaches you with the expectation that you will like her as much as she likes you. She soaks up both human and doggie attention. Zelda is housetrained but likes being outside in her yard for part of the day. She knows her basic commands and is respectful of cats.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zelda von Zeven, a Los Angeles German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
