My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What a handsome, nay regal, young man Sideways is. We have no idea why his name is Sideways, but that is the name his owners gave the shelter when they brought him there, so that is the name we have kept for him. And, it's rather a cute name we think.

Gentle and affectionate, around one year old and about 15 pounds, Sideways will work his way into your heart. His joy of simply being with us is very apparent, and he LOVES being loved and petted. He follows us everywhere we go. You can almost hear his thoughts, "What are we doing next? What do you need my help with now? Let's do something together!"

Though we do not know yet if he does well with very young children, he does enjoy kids of at least 10 years old. He is great around other dogs as long as they are introduced properly. Cats? The jury is out still as he has had a lot of exposure yet. Let us know if you have cats and we'll let you know how he did if we haven't updated his bio yet.

Sideways is great on lead and enjoys walks. He did great in his crate all night long and while travelling. He is not noise at all and is a joy to be around. We cannot be sure yet if he is housetrained but it appears he is as he had no accidents in his crate at all.
