Aveya's Story...
Aveya came to New Moon Rabbit Rescue as a stray on August 29 2012 after being taken to a local pet store.

She immediately showed herself to be a calm, curious and extremely friendly lady. In fact, Aveya is one of the friendliest rabbits her foster has ever met! She prefers to receive human attention (especially pets on the head) over ANYTHING in the world. She ignores her dinner when she is fed in favour of begging for a pet or two (preferably two) before chowing down.

Aveya will be a loving addition to her forever family and would likely do well with a bunny friend and/or other pets. She is sweet in every way!

Aveya has been spayed and is now available for adoption. We do make every effort to keep our rabbits adoption profiles as up-to-date as possible but this is not always possible. If you are interested in adopting Aveya and have any question about them, please email

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Aveya, a North Gower Lop-Eared was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lop-Eared for sale in North Gower, or seeking a Lop-Eared from a breeder in North Gower.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Gower already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Gower breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lop-Eared breeders who help with Lop-Eared rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Gower paves the way for another one to be saved.
