Blossom's Story...
Blossom was an 'ol lost soul when she was at the shelter.. her sad eyes and faded spirit just broke my heart.. a lot of hound mixes end up at the county kill shelter during hunting season.. well.. she seemed different.. we really didn't see her as a typical "hunting dog".. she is extremely laid back and quiet to be a hound mix.. she loves people and the company of other dogs.. she walks great on a leash.. takes treats very gently.. is crate/house trained.. she should also do well around cats, kids, and livestock.. her loving personality and sweet nature will win you over immediately.. she'll make an excellent companion for your family.. if you'd like to schedule a time to come meet her.. please call/text Jody at (352)316-5155.. or send an email to heflinj@bellsouth.net..

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Blossom, a Williston Foxhound/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Foxhound/Beagle for sale in Williston, or seeking a Foxhound/Beagle dog from a breeder in Williston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Williston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Williston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Foxhound/Beagle breeders who help with Foxhound/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Williston paves the way for another one to be saved.
