Josie-playful girl's Story...
Josie is a year and a half year old tux girl looking for a new home after her owner's house was foreclosed on. Josie is very playful and sweet, has been spayed, and has all her shots. She loves to get into bags and boxes (like Maru!), or the highest shelf she can climb to. She goes crazy for the laser light! This playful young girl is fun and loving, and would love to go home with brother Basil if you're looking for a ready-made cat family. Please contact current owner at katecrawley@mac.com or 323/252-1388 to meet Josie!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Josie-playful girl, a Los Angeles Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
