Hi my name is DeeDee and I am as cute as can be with my magnificent crescent shaped eyebrow. I am a young female, spayed and up to date on vaccines. I haven’t checked my weight lately (I may have put on a pound or two too much in the last few months while at this very nice foster home – I have plans to reduce some come spring). My foster mom and Bella’s Bully Buddies gave me a chance to get out of the shelter and I have embraced my opportunity. I am living with my foster mom, her two small boy dogs - a very bossy Jack Russell and a lively little mixed terrier. I don’t mind listening to Hank, the Jack Russell, even though he is very tiny compared to me. We play and play then snuggle on top of mom. For a while we had another bigger foster dog, a pit mix like me, staying with us. I played with her lots too. There are a few cats that live with us. I get kind of interested when they run by and sometimes my two little brothers and I chase them but I always stop when mom tells us to and I never harm them. I have no problems staying in my crate when mom is not home and sleep in there at night. Needless to say I am housebroken. I go to doggy day care twice a week and am very popular with the staff and other dogs. We live in Fells Point and some nice women who my mom did not know saw us on a walk. One asked if she could take me running. I like it!! The other wanted to take me for walks. I guess I am very loveable but don’t understand why no one has adopted me yet. I would love to find my forever home with someone who would give me a nice amount of exercise or has another dog that I can play with and who has time to snuggle with me every day.

Rescue Group Info...
Bella’s Bully Buddies is an all volunteer, non-profit organization whose mission is to rescue pit bull type dogs from abuse, neglect and abandonment. While the dogs are in our care, we provide excellent nutrition, training and enrichment, veterinary care and lots of love in our network of foster homes. Our goal is to find each and every one of them a forever home where they will be loved as a part of the family for the rest of their lives. Through everyday interactions and community events we work to educate the public about the loyal, intelligent and loving nature that make pit bull type dogs wonderful companions and family members.
