Buddy's Story...
UPDATE......Not sure you are ready to adopt, ask us about fostering! This old boy is 9 years old, looking for an older couple or single human to take him for long walks and watch sunsets together. Likes kids to visit but would love just a nice shade tree and back yard to chill in, he likes it quiet and calm. Would really love someone to grow older with. This guy just wants to sit at your feet and take walks with you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy, a Fort Valley Black and Tan Coonhound/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Black and Tan Coonhound/Labrador Retriever for sale in Fort Valley, or seeking a Black and Tan Coonhound/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Fort Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Black and Tan Coonhound/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Black and Tan Coonhound/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
