Mickey (Minnie is adopted)'s Story...
Hi, our names are Mickey and Minnie and we are the cutest little cow kitties. We were 4 week old strays left on our own without a mom. A kind gentleman rescued us but unfortunately could not keep us. Now at 4 months we are old enough to find our own forever home.

Minnie (adopted): I am the talkative one. I guess I have a lot to say about life in general. I am super sweet and want to be the center of attention. Playing is a big part of my day and I just love to pounce on other kitty’s tails. I now reside in the kitten nursery and am quick to zip through the door when it is opened as I love to explore new surroundings.

Mickey: I am bit more on the quiet side although I totally enjoy playing. A good romp and tussle are all in a day’s activities. Although not quick as quick of Minnie, an open door can become such an adventure. We are the ying and yang of each other and would really like to be adopted together. Did I mention that we also get along very well with other kitties. We are just waiting for that forever home. Will your family become our family?

Please call CARE @ (804) 288-9797 and ask Connie about her cow kitties.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mickey (Minnie is adopted), a Richmond Colorpoint Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Colorpoint Shorthair for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Colorpoint Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Colorpoint Shorthair breeders who help with Colorpoint Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
