Tawny's Story...
Tawny is an adorably cute little baby girl that had a rough start to life. Kiara, Tawny, and Rafi are three kittens rescued from under a house at three weeks old. Unfortunately, all three kittens had severe upper respiratory infections and eye infections. The three kittens are very lucky to be alive! Their foster mom, Lynn, bottle fed them and got them as healthy as possible, but they were left 'visually impaired'. All three kittens can see, just not as well as a normal kitty. They are absolute lovebugs and would LOVE a home. Please help these cuties find homes! They are looked over at our Saturday adoption events because they are special needs, but we know there are families out there for them! About Our Rescue Group...
Happy Strays Rescue is a non-profit rescue organization that cares for stray, abandoned and orphaned cats and kittens. Our rescues are often just babies who require bottlefeeding and hand rearing. Our cats and kittens are cared for in a network of wonderful foster homes while they wait for adoption.

Come Meet Our Pets...
We currently have many many cats and kittens ready for adoption! Because we do not have a shelter and our cats reside in foster homes they are only available to be seen at our adoption Saturdays. If there is a cat you would like to meet, please let us know so that we can make sure the kitty is at our next evemt.

Our cats are available for adoption every Saturday from 11 am-3:30 pm at the PETCOs in La Canada and Santa Clarita. Please see our website for details and directions.
Our Adoption Process...
Our fees are $100 and include spay/neuter, testing for Felv/FIV and all vaccinations. We have an adoption questionaire and contract to be signed. We do not allow de-clawing, but we often rescue declawed cats and have them available for adoption. If the adoption is not a good fit for the cat or family, pets may always be returned to us.
