My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you always wanted a black lab but thought they were too big, have I got the CAT for you! He is even named after a black labs favorite chase-toy, a squirrel. He will roll over to get his belly rubbed, loves to play fetch & tug-of-war & can even find lost critters. He helped me find his 14-year-old older “brother” – when I realized I hadn’t seen him in 24+ hours Squirrel found him & led me to him when I told him “find your brother”. He spent most of his first year and a half growing up with a little girl just one year older than he so he is very gentle except when you try to take his toys before he wants to let you, just like a lab. And when one of the little kittens gets to his toy before he does, he is very patient & just follows them till he gets an opportunity to get the toy back. He will also “point” out where the toys have gone when they manage to get away from him on their own. He will lay & stare under the stove, dresser, chair, etc. till you reach under there & “retrieve” the runaway toy. And he is even the perfect color – BLACK!
