My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello everyone!! My name is Bella!! I am an approximately 2 1/2 year old black female great dane with natural ears. While I had a rough start at life, thanks to a wonderful person I am getting a second chance at finding my forever home!! When I was a puppy I was not taken care of, my chest skin grew over my harness and had to be surgically removed. I also had a severe cut on my paw that cut through a ligament. Both of these injuries have fully healed and do not affect me at all in being the most loving dog I can be! I was removed from my original owners at 7 months old by my guardian angel and lived with them until recently. My rescuer had to turn me in to MAGDRL as she did not have the resources to care for a dog my size. I am 146 pounds, stand about 31 inches tall and am a full of love and caring! I am a ”Velcro“ dog and love to be by someone’s side at all times. I have adjusted amazingly well in my foster home and get along great with the children and dogs that live there! I was initially reluctant to go into my crate, but after a day I realized it was a pretty cool place to hang out and I enjoy being in there to get some peace and quiet. One of my favorite things to do is lay on the floor or the “dog couch” in my foster home with one of my foster family members and watch TV (or anything as long as I am with them!). Bella will do best in a home with children and other dogs that she can play with. Bella will make an excellent companion for the lucky family that will provide her with her forever home!
